Born and raised amidst the heartland of the Midwest in Illinois, I'm Ashley Van Lopik - a proud wife and momma of two. My journey began in the bustling classrooms of Chicago, where I once served as a teacher. The impact of that era and the transformative experience of becoming a mother that reignited my connection with my creative soul.

Drawn to the urban tapestry of Chicago -its layers, colors, and grit - I find perpetual inspiration in the city's vibrant essence.  Yet, my true muse lies in the extraordinary evolution of the human body.  From the profound changes experienced through pregnancy and the fluctuations of weight gain and loss to the nuanced marks of age, I am captivated by the body's ability to tell stories of resilience and beauty.
